The Mill House Hotel is conveniently situated in the ancient village of Swallowfield, 3 miles from Reading Town centre. Offers superb comfort and friendly, attentive hospitality.
The Georgian building dates back to 1823 and is run under the personal direction of Mark and Kim Pybus. After careful restoration to its former Georgian glory, keeping the original design of high ceilings and large bay windows, all of our bedrooms have been individually decorated retaining their original features and character yet offering all modern expected facilities.

All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

The Garden Restaurant is an elegant conservatory overlooking the gardens and River Loddon and offers an atmosphere to suit a both a lively group celebration or that intimate table for two.
Situated on the b3349 Basingstoke Road. From m4 j11 take a33 to Basingstoke. At first roundabout take 1st exit to Swallowfield, continue for approx 2 miles, we are on the right hand side. From m3 take exit 6, follow a33 to Reading. Continue until exit on roundabout signed Swallowfield. Take 1st left hand turn to Riseley(B3349). Continue for approx 2 miles, ignoring signs to turn right to Swallowfield (this will lead into the village). The Mill House will be found on the left hand side.
